About The Producer
Carmignano is a small Tuscan area, 30 Km west from Florence, where wine was produced since Etruscan times. Smallest Tuscan DOCG, recognized since vintage 1988, it is one of the world’s first four appellations introduced in 1716 by the Grand Duke of Tuscany.
Capezzana is owned and managed by the Contini Bonacossi’s since 1920. Today, the fourth and fifth generations are running together the winery.
Tenuta di C is proud to be certified Organic and to represent the character of the land of origin using natural territorial yeasts, eliminating the need for starter yeasts in the fermentation process.
